We are currently working alongside the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on the Liberty Sipp cases we have recently issued.

Liberty Sipp cases

The connection with the FCA comes after we launched the biggest ever lawsuit against the Sipp provider. The 30 Liberty Sipp cases cover a number of schemes. Our clients fell victim to schemes including Ethical Forestry and Global Plantations. This takes the number of clients represented by APJ to more than 1,500. As a result, we are now the largest pension mis-selling law firm in the UK.

Following the initiation of the litigation process, the FCA has requested that we work alongside the regulator. We will keep the FCA updated by providing all court papers for Liberty Sipp cases.

Our thoughts

Our Managing Director Anthony Wilson welcomes the connection. He said: “The conversation we’re having with the FCA on the cases we’ve issued against Liberty Sipp is a positive step forward. It will help our clients in securing the compensation they deserve.

“It has also made other providers take notice of the progress we’re making on behalf of our clients. We’re not planning on slowing down anytime soon. We also plan to issue many more cases against Sipp providers in the coming months.”

In addition to the cases issued against Liberty, we were also the first law firm to issue cases against Guinness Mahon. We are now preparing to issue another 20 cases in the coming weeks. The lawsuit will be the largest number of cases issued against the Sipp provider.

If you invested in a scheme through Liberty Sipp of Guinness Mahon, get in touch. Our expert team of solicitors can offer support and advice. We operate on a no win, no fee basis, so you don’t have to worry about paying anything until your case is resolved.
